Salesforce<>AdBook+ Integration Unites Sales & Operations Galaxies

No, we’re not playing Jedi mind tricks on you - although we could argue that our Salesforce<>AdBook+ integration IS powerful enough to bind galaxies together.

The Salesforce-managed package, one of AdBook+’s most widely used integrations, empowers users from sales and operations to seamlessly work together and exchange data while sellers work in the CRM and operations teams work in the OMS.

The value proposition of the integration, however, extends far beyond operational efficiency. Sellers get easy and direct access to inventory and pricing, and the business maintains controls around rate approvals, booking, and hand off. Through configuration, you control the synchronization of data for accurate and timely revenue insights.

Did you know? Our Salesforce-managed package undergoes an aggressive release cycle independent from AdBook+’s monthly release. This year, in fact, we released on average three new managed package versions per month to meet demand for new features, custom development, and bug fixes.

One of the most recent and powerful additions to the managed package is the “AdBook+ DQT report import to Salesforce”

Even with the ability to sync campaign and line item level data between the two systems, there may be AdBook+ data living outside the campaigns or line items that you want to power reporting or trigger other workflow/activities in Salesforce. Some examples include:

  • Monthly views of Revenue and Remaining Revenue

  • Day by day 1st- or 3rd-party delivery data and index views

  • Custom fields

  • Product level insights

With an upgrade to v2.82, this feature allows you to import any DQT output onto a Salesforce opportunity custom object in three simple steps:

  1. Create a saved DQT report in AdBook+ and schedule it to be delivered at a desired frequency to Salesforce.

  2. Create a custom object, custom fields, and report mapping configuration to ingest the incoming report.

  3. Display, report on, or build triggers from AdBook+ data in Salesforce.
